Frequently Asked Questions

1.) Online bookings are limited to a maximum of 6 people from 2 households per table.


2.) Each booking will be allocated a maximum of 4 hours per table.

3.) Thompsons is an independent bar / restaurant relying upon bookings being honoured by guests or sufficient notice being given of any required changes to reservations.

We therefore request a £5 per person deposit to secure your table with us and at least 2 hours notice of cancellation – you will only be charged in the case of a NO SHOW. All table reservations will be held for a maximum of 15 mins after the selected time. Punctual / early arrival is strongly advised.

Unfortunately, our experience of parties failing to cancel or amend bookings dictates this precaution is now necessary.

4.) If you have any queries regarding our terms and conditions do not hesitate to contact us directly via our Facebook page. By making a reservation with us, you agree to our reservation and cancellation terms.



5.) Due to social distancing our venue has been split into 4 sections so specific table requests cannot be guaranteed. If you have any specific preference for an area of the club add it into the comments section of your booking or contact us via our Facebook page.



6.) Face coverings must be worn upon entrance and whilst moving around the venue.
